Razer announced their newest product, the Razer Blade, a 17 inch gaming laptop with an aluminium chassis and thin profile comparable to other Ultrabook out in the market. Blade was undoubtedly the thinnest, perhaps the most stylish-looking gaming laptop, boasted with excellent screen, but the performance, processor, graphics and overall specs and configuration. According to the manufacturer, this will ensure the next-gen Blade is the most powerful yet, running at double the speed of the original.

Features the latest processor and graphics for up to double the performance than the previous generation. Powered by an all new Intel Core i7 quad-core processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M class  graphics, along with2GB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory, 8GB of DDR3 system memory, 500GB 7200rpm HDD primary storage memory and 64GB SATA III Solid State Drive with NVELO Dataplex Software. The Razer Blade’s 10 dynamic adaptive tactile keys put an infinite number of commands, controls and skill right at the gamers’ fingerprint. It also offers built-in HD Webcam, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/n connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, expanded set of 3 USB 3.0 ports including powered-off USB charging and Razer claims are optimized speaker and quitter fans.

High definition 17.3 inch LED display with the resolution of 1920x 1080 pixels, hybrid drive solution and a slim power supply for a true portable gaming experience. It has a switchblade User Interface (UI) in an all-new innovative user interface designed from the ground up for a more efficient, intuitive, and exciting gaming experience.  With the switchblade UI, gamers can fully customize their and wallpaper, browse the web for in game information, watch Youtube videos for walkthrough guides, stay connected with their social networks, use Skype to chat with their friends, and launch dedicated applications to interact with popular games, all in real time.

All this at just under an inch thick and weighing less than 7lb, the new Razer Blade is still the thinnest gaming laptop of its class. The thermal system has also been re-crafted to help keep the Razer Blade at a cooler temperature. Razer Blade can be pre-ordered now for $2,499 with shipment to begin on September 30th this year.
