Skype v0.2.00 for Windows Phone 7.5 Smartphone Released - Download Now

Microsoft has released the new Skype beta 0.2.0.0 app for Windows Phone Smartphone users. The new Skype version 0.2.0.0 App is seems to be good for Windows Phone device owners because its now providing fully loaded features to users. Skype 0.2.0.0 (Beta) App for Windows Phone will work both over Wi-Fi networks connectivity as well as standard 3G and 4G cellular networks. While Microsoft has highlighted that the new Skype App v.0.2.0.0 will only work with Windows Phone 7.5 or higher.

• Make and receive voice/video calls and instant messages to anyone else using Skype, whether on a Windows Phone, iPhone, iPad, Android phone, Mac, PC or television.

Updated Facebook App v2.3 for Windows Phone 7 Released

Microsoft has released the improved and updated version of Facebook App v2.3.0.0 for Windows Phone 7 Smartphone users, which brings several upgrades, newest features, performance enhancement, improved design, better navigation and lots of bug fixes. According to Michael Stroh, a technology writer of Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 said; "Users will find changes across the board in version 2.3 of the app". The most substantial improvements include new panorama and profile designs, enhanced news feed performance, refined filters, posting privacy controls and better navigation.

Nokia to Launch first Windows Phones Smartphone in Europe this Year

As we know Nokia has already announced that they will teaming up with Microsoft to build Smartphone's based on Windows Phone 7 Operating System. The two companies wants to enhance their partnership to the next level, Microsoft says the strategic partnership will allow both companies to use their "complementary strengths" to create a new "global mobile ecosystem" which will almost certainly take Windows Phone 7 market share to a whole new level. Nokia will make Windows Phone 7 their "principal smartphone strategy" (in other words, it's going to be their main operating system for all their phones) with plans to work in partnership with Microsoft on both software and hardware features. Nokia will make their primary OS for smartphones "Symbian" OS as a "franchise platform", with MeeGo soon with an emphasis placed on longer term market exploration for next generation devices, platforms and user experiences.

Windows Phone to Overtake iPhone by 2015 - IDC Report

According to the latest IDC report regarding Worldwide Smartphone Operating System Market Share, IDC has declared that the Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 will overtake the market share of the Apple's iPhone by 2015. In fact under the figures, the iPhone market share would decrease with Android taking the lead with 43.8% in 2015. Google's Android will keep its top spot in 2015, grabbing almost 44 percent of the global market, while Apple's iOS will hug third place with a 16.9 percent share.

Windows Phone 7 Mango Official Features and Rumors Update

Microsoft is soon going to launch its next generation Windows Phone 7.5 codename "Mango". Windows Phone 7 is due for a major update in the near future and Microsoft will integrate all its new features and updates in its upcoming Windows Phone 7.5 "Mango". According to the Microsoft new Windows Phone handsets are on the way this year from Acer, Fujitsu and Chinese mobile phone manufacturer ZTE. By adding additional OEM manufacturers to their existing partners, it is expected Microsoft will be able to reach a broader range of price points and attract a larger audience. The devices will ship with the first really dramatic update to Windows Phone 7 'Mango'.

In addition, Microsoft has confirmed new Windows Phone Mango devices will ship this year from all their existing Windows Phone 7 partners: HTC, Samsung, LG and Dell. We have already know about 30 confirmed and rumored major changes and updates present in Windows Phone 7 “Mango,”, so the other 470 changes must be either extremely minor or a load of other features that will be uncovered at tomorrow’s event. On that list we do have some big features, such as IE9 integration, multi-tasking, Office 365 support, revamped Xbox Live, Bing upgrades, Marketplace improvements and a boatload more.

Windows Phone 7 Gets "VoIP"; iPhone "FaceTime" Competitor ?
