Nikon world's largest and Japanese camera manufacturer company has announced its first ever Android based Digital Camera for its users named "Coolpix S800c" with the advanced support of Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and having 16 Mega-pixel Camera. Nikon is not the only company who has built a camera having Android OS in it; previously many small companies had also introduced Digital Camera's having Android OS installed. Nikon's Coolpix S800c Digital Camera is different from others because it’s a fully loaded power packed featured camera with new point-and-shoot compact camera support. Nikon Coolpix P7700 compact digital camera announced

Nikon has announced the new Coolpix P7700 with has a mighty features but small enough to carry in a pocket and specially constructed to go up against the Canon PowerShot G1 X and Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100. The latest design loses some of its predecessor's distinctive, lopping off the top, but it also looks less like its main competitor as a result. Nikon CoolPix P7700 advanced compact digital camera, which comes as an update to the older brother P7100 model.

Housed in an all-magnesium chassis, the new camera features a 12.2MP backside illumination (BSI) CMOS sensor and sport a large (1/1.7-inch), brighter zoom optics – F2 at the wide-end (28mm) and F4 at the telephoto-end (200mm) and 920k-dot 3.0 inch fully articulated screen. This new digital camera is capable of capturing full-resolution images at a speedy 8fps and also support high-speed continuous shooting at an impressive 120fps at 1280 x 960 pixels resolution. P770 delivers extremely rapid performance from a quick start up time to lighting-fast autofocus recognition to help ensure the moment capture.

The company has also incorporated with image stabilization in the form of its proprietary Vibration Reduction (VR) mode which reduces camera shake and gives you sharper images still in a low-light conditions. It also offers manual ISO setting from 80 to 6400 so you can adjust the sharpness or colour balance before even shooting modes (P/S/A/M). 

Eye-Fi X2 (or later ) card are supported for wireless transfer of images and there are number of accessories that the P7700 will be compatible with, including Nikon's own speedlight flash units, the ML-L3 remote control for remote shutter release, 40.5 mm filter, the MC-DC2 remote cord and the GP-1 GPS unit. It seems like the new camera offers useful but mostly incremental upgrades.

Nikon S800c is a camera with has a 16MP illuminated CMOS sensor, 10x zoom lens ranging from 25-250mm, a built-in flash, shooting up to 8fps and lots of lifters and effects that don’t force you take a 1024 x 1024 pixels hot instagram-style.

The company elaborated that the new camera, which has been designed for always connected user, will further enable user captures photos and HD videos with amazing clarity and colours. Along with a variety od scene modes and creative filters, including the new toy camera effect, super vivid colour filters, as well as cross process and peripheral darkening filters.
