Pantech Vegra R3 smartphone packs with quad-core and 5.3 inch display

Pantech Mobile maker based on South Korean based Manufacturer has just introduced the upcoming new smartphone to its ranges in the form of Pantech Vegra R3 – quad core smartphone in a shelves.

Vegra R3 sports a 5.3 inch Natural IPS Pro LCD touchscreen display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Which runs on Google's Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and making it worthy contender against handsets such as Galaxy Note II of Samsung or Optimus G of LG.

Under the hood powered you can find a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor together with 2GB of system memory (RAM) and 16GB of internal memory storage. It also equipped with impressive 13MP rear camera with 2MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, microSD card slot, microUSB slot and NFC connectivity. Pantech Vegra R3 fitted with 2600mAh battery which has been designed and optimized for shorter charging times. According to Pantech Mobile they have planed to launch the phone with the three major network carrier in So. Korea starting this week.

Pantech Vega S5 smartphone

Pantech has recently announced a new android phone for South Korean market - Pantech Vega S5. This handset has a huge 5-inch capacitive multi-touch IPS LCD display panel with1280x 720 pixel resolution and support 720pixel video content.

The handset equipped with “Zero Bezel” and slight frame, which it claims is the thinnest on any 4-5-inch handset. Powered by Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor and runs on Google’s Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform and 13-megapixel rear-facing camera plus Pantech’s Smart Voice, which is equivalent of Apple’s pre-owned Siri software. According to the source Pantech is using the LCD to display the Android navigation buttons in much the same way that they appear on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Pantech Vega S5 will be available later this month, but there is no detail on price tag and also the information on whether the device will be hit global market after the launching period of the device.
