Acer ICONIA TAB A110 - goes official

Acer has just recently did the announcement for their 7 inch Iconia Tab A110 tablet comes in better mobility meets stylish and compact design, which Acer showcasing at way back at Computex last June this year.

The new Acer ICONIA TAB A110 sports a 7 inch multi-touch screen display with a 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, ideal to carry and comfortable to browse, taking your mobile experience to the next level. Comes in a perfect to carry with you at all times to read, to browse, to play games or to plan your day long.

Powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, allows faster and smoother web surfing, better multitasking, console-quality gaming and HD video watching. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS based device means this device comes with pre-loaded of full-set of Google Mobile Service suite such as Gmail, Google+, Google Maps, Messenger, Play Store, YouTube, Google Talk and more.

On the price and availability of the product, Acer does not mention as of now. But we expected to be release in the coming weeks with a price start below $200. So let may see how it goes.

Acer Iconia Tab A210 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Tegra 3 processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich platform which is supported by a 1GB of RAM, 8GB built-in memory can be expandable for up to 32GB of additional space via microSD card slot. The tablet support GSM SIM card and 3G connectivity via local network provider. Acer will leave the interface and default apps of ICS alone, which means that users will get the full Android experience as intended by the original developers.

Sport a 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch screen display panel with (1280 x 800 pixels resolution, 149 ppi pixel density. The overall design and quality build is mostly made of plastic, with the obligatory scratch-proof glass covering the front, they fell very sturdy and it's unlikely that yo'll break them, even if you intend to use them in the open field.

ACER's newest Windows 8 Tablets – ACER Iconia W700 and ACER Iconia W510 announced

At the computex 2012 every manufacturer showcase thier latest gadgets to present to the world, usually the very eye-catching devices is their very own Windows 8 powered tablets in the said event. Following the launch of Microsoft's newest Windows – the Windows 8 release preview, Acer has also introduced not one but two of thier latest and very first and long awaited Windows 8 powered slates, the Iconia W700 and Iconia W510 in Chinese Taipie Taiwan.

Acer ICONIA W510 tablet comes with 10.1-inch IPS display. A detachable keyboard extends the battery life up to 18 hours. This tablet has a speaker on both side. The ports available are a docking ports, microUSB port, HDMI port , as well as an audio jack. According to ASUS, W510 can be utilized in tri-mode, which can allow users to touch, type and view. Users can rotate the keyboard dock around to use in presentation mode, similar to what Crux has offered with its cases for the iPad in the past. In addition, W510 has Always On, Always connect technology, wider angle viewing with more vibrant, consistent and accurate colors. It is an everyday tablet with convertible functions, smartly designed for modern day explorer whose primary needs are freedom of usage for slate, keyboard and hand-free touch.

Acer ICONIA W700 has slightly larger 11.6-inch Full HD 1920x1080 resolution display with Full-HD resolution supporting up to finger multi-touch. For enhanced audio, it comes with Dolby Home Theater. The tablet has three USB 3.0 ports, ThunderBolt ort, micro HDMI. The battery provide over 8 hours of battery life. The multipurpose cradle can be adjusted for several viewing angle at 70 degrees for optimal viewing or at 20 degrees for typing and using the slate. On the back, there is a 5-MegaPixel camera. This tablet also front-facing camera on the front. The models is manufactured from aluminium but Acer has placed a material on the back to stop the tablets from slipping on smooth surfaces.

No word on pricing or availability just yet, but presumably it will be launching after Microsoft has officially announced the availability of their newest version of Windows Operating System, the Windows 8.
