HTC J smartphone sport a 4.3 inch qHD PenTile AMOLED capacitive multi-touch screen display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution and equipped with HTC Sense User Interface (UI) version 4.0. Armed with 8MP rear camera with autofocus, LED flash comes with the following features such as geo-tagging, simultaneous HD video and image recording, touch focus, image stabilization and face detection. It can also support 1080 video content and also 1.3 front camera can support 720p video recording content as well as video chatting purposes.
HTC J comes with a dual-core Snapdragon S4 MSM8660A processor with a clocked speed of 1.5GHz with 1GB of system memory (RAM), 16GB of internal storage memory can be expanded by up to 32GB additional space via microSD card slot. Enhanced with Beats Audio technology and it will runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich as what you expected.
As of connectivity features HTC J offers a quad-band GSM, WCDMA 2100MHZ, CDMA 2000 @ 800MHz and WiMax 2.5-2.7GHz (for Japan and Taiwan). J is basically re-configured version of HTC One S international code-named, exclusively made for Japan's 2ndlargest network carrier. According to HTC that the J models will ship to the global market with a standard of waterproofing, it is not marketed as such in Japan due to particular criteria required by the Japanese local network carrier.
