Italian archaeologists have found remains of Mona Lisa?





After more than a year excavating the background St.Ursula monastery in Florence, a group of Italian archaeologists believe they have found the remains of Lisa Gherardini - who is the prototype of the Mona Lisa in the famous works painted by renowned artist genius Leonardo da Vinci.

Mr. Silvano Vinceti - the team leader they said the remains will be DNA tested for comparison with the bones of two sons Gherardini (buried in a nearby church), and analyze whether it is similar to the skull was discovered in last year or not. If they all match, the scientists will conduct facial reconstruction and comparison with Lisa Gherardini Mona Lisa in order to solve the secrets behind this immortal smile. But the plan faces fierce opposition from the Gherardini family members, they think it's disrespectful actions and seriously violated the rules of the clan.





Lisa Gherardini, the wife of wealthy silk merchant Francesco del Giocondo. The picture painted is set to decorate their new house and also to celebrate her son's birthday Monday - Andrea. After her husband died, Lisa Gherardini became nuns at the monastery St.Ursula, where she died on 07.15.1542, life expectancy 63 years. Mona Lisa (also known as La Gioconda or La Joconde) is considered one of the most famous paintings in the world, the works owned by the French government and displayed at the Louvre in Paris.
