Korean manufacturer Samsung has just unveiled a new additional Samsung’ Galaxy Player lineup – via Samsung Tomorrow. Soon to be launched product goes by the name Galaxy Player 5.8 where describe the 5.8 inch display size.
Samsung Galaxy Player 5.8 features a huge, large, ample 5.8 inch qHD TFT LCD display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, which is much larger than that found on the Samsung’s Galaxy Note Smartphones. There is practically little known about this media player, but the specs and configuration that are available indicate that the display features.
Samsung Galaxy 5.8 reportedly comes equipped with either 16 or 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot for storage expansion and 3.0MP front-facing VGA camera. This media player runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Samsung’s TouchWiz user interface on top. There is no word yet on the processor used on the Galaxy Player 5.8 but we will surely know more when the IFA 2012 event takes place for the more details and information gathered like the availability and price tagging for this device.
Powered by dual-core 1GHz CPU along with 1GB of DDR2 RAM and either 16/32GB of internal storage capacity. Packs in 2500mAh battery that should be more than sufficient enough for the whole day of usage for multimedia and digital fun. The device has a measure of 165.8 x 85.9 x 10.8 (l x w x h) and weigh at 223 grams which will also feature like Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Gyroscope sensor, microUSB, stereo speaker, FM radio, microSD card slot and T-DMR for mobile TV in South Korea.
