Fresh news from Nokia Mobile, a new Asha lineup siblings with its most affordable featured phone series comes in the form of Asha 308 and Asha 309 phone. Both are budget-friendly devices that claims to offer a smartphone experience come in a capacitive touchscreen display.
Packs with the same 3.0 inch WQVGA capacitive touch screen display (240 x 400 pixels) with multiple home screens and runs on Nokia Series 40 with it reconfigured UI. Both devices claim to offer a fluid swipe UI and an open environment for third-party app development. Nokia's new Xpress Browser will also be carried on both handsets, which offers up to 90 percent more efficient mobile browsing and faster access to rich web applications compared to conventional browser.

Integrated with several useful apps such as Facebook and Twitter, it also comes with Nokia Messaging Service and video streaming through the browser from sites like YouTube, as a first within the Asha Touch range models and pre-loaded with 40 free Java games from EA. Comes with 2MP camera both are 2G-enabled devices, also has loud speaker, FM radio, 64MB internal storage with up to 32GB expansion memory via microSD card slot.

The difference between with the two models is the Nokia Asha 308 equipped with Dual-SIM capability with Bluetooth and the Nokia Asha 309 is a Single SIM phone capability together with a Wi-Fi connectivity. These handset expected to be shipped out with a price start at $99 and it will start on sale some time in the 4th quarter of this year.
