Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Tablet with 4G LTE announced by Verizon


Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 will soon be available from Verizon starting on August 17th this 7-inch tablet is the successor to Samsung's original Android tablet, the Galaxy Tab. Powered by 1GHz TI OMAP4 dual core processor but according to Verizon the new 4G model will have a slightly faster 1.2GHz dual core chip. Verizon will sell the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) for $349.99 without contract, $100 higher than the price of the tablet's non-LTE version models.


Tab 2 7.0 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with the Samsung TouchWiz user interface and features a 7-inch TFT capacitive multi-touch screen display with 1024 x 600 pixels and boasted with Samsung's Plane-to-Line Switching (PLS) technology, which allow for better power efficiency.

Sport 8GB of internal memory plus a microSD card slot for additional storage space capacity and other specs appear to be unchanged including a front-facing VGA camera, a 3.2MP rear-facing Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n connectivity. Moreover, the new tablet is a Samsung Approved for Enterprise (SAFE) device.
