Strategy Analytics: every 3, then 2 tablets 1 IOS and Android
According to data recently published by market research firm Strategy Analytics tablet PC market, Apple remains the dominant carrier with 68.3% global market share, more than 29.3% compared with the Android. Over the same period last year, it seemed a year of trying to Android does not bring any results when little correlation between the two forces almost constant. In another aspect, data from Strategy Analytics shows that the tablet needs to remain high growth rate for the same period last year was 66.8%. Specifically, in the 2nd quarter past, the number of iPad sales reached 17 million units of Android is 7.3 million, both nearly double the number sold last year. Therefore it is understandable that the balance difference of IOS and Android tablet is almost unchanged from before. The slight increase of 6.3%, Apple (see table below) from the decline of market share and number of tablets sold by Windows and other operating systems which had very little before. Commenting on the market situation, the analyst Neil Mawston of Strategy Analytics said, "Despite high expectations, the company Amazon, Samsung, Acer, Asus and Android community has yet to make any threat to the Apple dominated the tablet market. Hardware design is not prominent, small sample size and the optimal service for a modest tablet are some of the main reasons leading to the current results of the Android tablet.
