Motorola recently revealed the first life-proof Android-based smartphone from Motorola Mobility with full QWERTY keyboard and touchscreen display which is targeting the business user that might want to jump ship to Android and show a few good reasons to do so. Motorola Defy Pro comes with 2.7-inch QVGA screen display boasted with a scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass, which makes it more durable and it is also a dust-proof and water-resistant.
Come across as a classy Smartphone which is even apt for professional. It is pre-loaded with number of application including MotoPrint for printing document directly from the device and a Quickoffice to view and edit documents. It comes with the specially designed dashboard featuring the three different views such as, Outdoor View which is provides weather forecast, Workout View that includes a stopwatch and calorie monitor and Hiking View which shows info and details about hiking trails.
The device offers a 5-megapixel rear facing camera and a front –facing camera for video chat or video conferencing, 2 GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and it is runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. It sure is interesting and not really all that inspiring but should appeal to select few one. And it definitely looks like one of those smartphones that would be appreciated by folks switching from BlackBerry smartphone model with QWERTY feature.
