Microsoft Surface RT Windows 8 tablets Tech Spec


Windows RT configuration comes with ARM processor and will be powered by Nvidia Tegra chipset, a separate version of Windows for ARM-based processor. It will be thinner, lighter and less expensive the Intel-based tablet and will come together in 32GB and 64GB versions and configuration. Based on Windows 8 – desktop-class Operating System the tablet you can use for more than just consuming content, you can create documents in MS Office, make funny cat GIFs in Photoshop, develop the next big thing in Visual Studio so on and so port. The device also supports stylus input, along with the ability to differentiate between a palm and the pen, so that you will able to rest your palms on the tablet when using it.


In additional to the more full-fledged OS, it packs a larger 42W-h battery, USB v2.0. You can also get a higher 1080p resolution from the 10.6-inch ClearType display, but it comes wrapped in a package that’s 13.5 mm thick and weighs 903 grams

Microsoft declined to dive into specific about their new tablet's release, though they were quickly to note the Surface tablets would be competitive in term of pricing when this stuff will hit the market.
