Microsoft licensed to RIM technology uses exFAT
Microsoft has officially confirmed the authorization to use RIM technology exFAT (a file system format) on certain BlackBerry devices. This format has the full name is the Extended File Allocation Table, which is often used on flash memory devices and appear for the first time on Windows Embedded CE 6.0 operating system released in 2006. exFAT can store files over 4GB (such as HD video files, for example) and high speed access to more efficient format FAT32 for use on a memory card or storage device small and medium size . This is considered the steps to prepare very carefully before RIM launches BlackBerry 10 devices early next year.   RIM is the latest Microsoft partners and agreements have contributed flexing exFAT technology in the mobile device market. Known in the August / 2012, Sharp also have to pay Microsoft to use exFAT format on your Android phone.   Source: Microsoft
